Japan Sports News: Tweet by a college student claims "Shinji Kagawa came to my workplace" with a picture of security footage.

The Japanese Manchester United star Shinji Kagawa is Japan's finest soccer export, currently playing at the top of his game. The 24 year old Midfielder's humble personality and good looks have made him become a favorite for the Japanese public and soccer supporters around the world.

I would be grinning like that too if I saw his contract

But with his fame, fans and the media are watching him very closely both on and off the field.
And on July 19th, a college student who works at a convenience store tweeted on her twitter account the following:

7/15(月)、朝9時40分頃、私のバイト先に香川真司がご来店しました。 しかし、その時に私はのんきに 授業なんて受けていました。 こんないい機会を私は逃しました。 とゆー訳で、香川真司選手 またのご来店お待ちしておりまーす!w

"July 15th (Mon) around 9:40am Shinji Kagawa came to the store that I work part-time. But I was lazily attending class. I missed the opportunity of a lifetime. So please come and visit again Mr. Kagawa! lol"

If the tweet wasn't bad enough, accompanying the tweet was a photo of security footage of what seems to be Kagawa buying something.

This is not the first time that a celebrity in Japan has been tweeted about. Recently, a hotel worker tweeted that model Miho Tanaka and soccer player Junichi Inamoto had checked into the worker's hotel.

There is no doubt that the tweet was out of line. irresponsible, and an invasion of one's privacy.
But what can be done of it? Unfortunately, quite little.
Mediating every tweet will take away our freedom of speech. And punishment after the tweet being made does not reverse the damage already been done.
It is becoming compulsory for companies to educate workers about privacy. But the fact that it happened before, and it has happened now, means that despite all the education, it will happen again.

So alas, maybe this is the price for fame and a multi-million dollar contract for being able to kick a ball better than everyone else...

Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
